PROFILE

Dr. Kahle is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Findlay, where she plays a central role in the College of Pharmacy curriculum and interprofessional education initiatives. She coordinates and teaches the Cardiology Module, contributes extensively to the Renal Module, and supports student learning across a range of therapeutics topics. In addition to her pharmacy teaching roles, Dr. Kahle serves as the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Coordinator, facilitating collaborative learning experiences that bring together students from multiple health professions to improve team-based patient care.

Dr. Kahle also serves as a shared faculty member with the Physician Assistant (PA) Program, where she teaches core pharmacology and pharmacotherapy content, helping PA students build a strong foundation in medication management and clinical decision-making. Through her teaching, Dr. Kahle emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and interprofessional collaboration to prepare future clinicians for complex healthcare environments.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Kahle maintains an active clinical practice site at St. Rita's Medical Center, where she serves as an inpatient clinical pharmacist. In this role, she practices primarily on the step-down units and participates in daily interdisciplinary rounds within the teaching hospital environment. Her clinical work supports direct patient care, medication optimization, and learner development, allowing her to integrate real-world clinical experience into the classroom and enhance interprofessional training for pharmacy and physician assistant students.
