"The University of Findlay has many different career pathways for their pharmacy students. This school not only provides you with the scientific knowledge but also empowers you with the humanitarian touch. The course is designed so that way you have not just the basic knowledge, but they also offer you on-campus laboratory work so you have the skills necessary to transition into a career. This gave me kind of like a two-way kind of learning where I can process information on my own, critically think on my own."

"Freedom is a very prominent part of why you choose a distance pathway. I have the option of still living my own life at home while getting to accomplish a big goal and dream. The faculty have been awesome. Everybody's just very approachable, and you feel like you're able to be human with them as well."

"When I spoke with faculty after my interview, that's when it really solidified my decision. The faculty was very approachable, they're very welcoming and warm. I've never had an experience like this where all of the professors I've had have been so supportive. They don't just listen to what we have to say, they actually hear us and they respond accordingly. They do everything that they can to support what we need."

"They go above and beyond for us here at Findlay.  I was attracted to Findlay's Distance Pharm D program because they had the best pass rates. They were the only university to set up phone calls with me, and she made it well-organized, and I felt supported the whole way through.  The faculty here is amazing - if I email any of the faculty, they are back to me within 15 minutes.  I love community pharmacy. I knew I was going to be successful in this program. I knew I could put in whatever work it took, so as long as I was prepared by my school and the faculty, I knew I would be successful, and Findlay was the perfect place for me."

"The University of Findlay gave me the opportunity to get back to what I really want to do, and that’s patient care. The program has been amazing. My experience with an enrollment advisor during the admissions process was actually a really great experience. I definitely feel supported by the faculty and staff. It's wonderful to see them in person because they do care about you throughout the year. It's a doctoral program, so it's not going to be the easiest, but it's definitely going to be rewarding."

I would advise all pharmacy students to get involved in pharmacy organizations. There are many ways you can grow as a student pharmacist, such as through making connections, growing in leadership, and showing your dedication to the profession of pharmacy. I was able to meet many upperclassmen in pharmacy who serve as role models for me, and I learned a lot from working alongside them in my organizations.

I never expected to be close to the other students in my pharmacy class as well as the professors. During the school year, however, I consider my pharmacy class to be a second family. The professors truly care about the students and want us to be successful.
