The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy gave me the opportunity to participate in pharmacy-based research, leading to a research assistantship. These experiences at UF prepared me for internships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and within the Ohio Health System, for a post-graduate fellowship with Bristol Myers Squibb.
I feel so much gratitude for my experiences within the college of pharmacy at UF. I believe that providing a strong education is an expectation and a given, which UF undoubtedly excels at, but what sets them apart is the ability to do so while creating a culture of growth, compassion, and well-being for students. I find these qualities to be crucial in creating the ultimate pharmacist. The professors and administrators transform education into an experience that has prepared me to be successful in my career.
During my time at UF, I have been blessed with a multitude of opportunities that have helped me to grow as a leader and as an individual. I have learned about how I can be a contributing member of society by providing quality care to patients and creating projects that have positive impacts on the community.
Everyone involved in the program, both students and staff, are passionate about the profession and strive to do their very best in class and field work. Overall, I love Findlay and I am excited for the years to come.
The pharmacy program has been so helpful in my journey to my PharmD as they have provided many great tutoring services as well as numerous events to make lots of connections. There are so many more aspects of UF that I could go on and on about. There are truly endless opportunities when attending the University of Findlay.
